Bill Levy is the President and founder of Pacific Ag Solutions. The company was started by Bill in 1998 while attending college at OSU. As president, he works primarily with financing, new projects including renewable energy services and Export Sales.
In 2007, Bill was lead negotiator and facilitator in combining two companies, American Onion and Rivergate Farms; , and partnering with the private equity firm CIC Partners of Dallas; www.cicpartnerslp.com, to create what is now River Point Farms; www.riverpointfarms.com America’s largest grower, packer, shipper and processor of yellow, red and sweet onions. During the first year of the company, Bill served as Chief Operating Officer of the company, helping guide the integration and growth of the new company. He continues his role as Board Member and Co-Owner.
In early 2006, Bill created and designed the Patagonia Sweet™ onion growing, packing, and shipping operation in the country of Chile to produce sweet onions for the U.S. This vertically integrated business model was crucial for delivering quality sweet onions to the U.S. from January to March. Patagonia Sweets™ are known today for quality and are available in major retail stores such as Costco, Sam’s Club, and Fred Meyer.
Bill is the fourth generation of Oregon farmers in the Levy family. Bill and his wife Danella both received their undergraduate degrees from Oregon State University and Masters Degrees from Washington State University. Bill received his Masters in Agribusiness with emphasis in economics and business management in 2001. He and his wife currently live in Kennewick WA and have three kids; Jacob, Faith, and Landen.
